Preseason Projections

DC Anarchy (7-6)
This squad looks poised to make another playoff run but it doesn't look stacked enough to overcome injuries or adversity. DC needs to find another playmaker at WR or hope that one of the bench WR's decides to breakout. This squad could be very good or could end up 6-7 and miss the playoffs. We know Massey will make the moves to try and make his squad better but will it work?
Virginia Beach Rovers (2-11)
Not much to be said here. Haydn made a huge run at the Victor Bowl in his fist year and it just didn't work as planned. Can't fault an owner for doing everything he can to win a Championship. Clearly Virginia Beach is in rebuild mode. This season looks to be about hitting the lottery and building back strong next year.
Nashville Riflemen ( 6-7)
Nasville does not look great but there is just enough talent here to win some ball games. The schedule favors Nashville with some match ups against teams with stars on bye. The schedule is favorable enough that I think Nashville could slip into the 3rd playoff spot if he really wanted to.
Charleston Bombers ( 6-7)
Could be weak at RB. Don't love two starting WR on the same team. Charleston could make a run at the playoffs but will need some things to go his way or he will need to make a few moves.
The Bronx Dominion (6-7)
Looks to be weak at starting WR althought if Mixon can fully breakout the two RB's could make up for it. The Bronx should challenge for a playoff spot as long as owner Tanner Barnes can stay out of his own way. They are a couple smart moves away from contending for the East.
Little Rock Capitals (10-3)
This squad is as loaded as it gets in the East this year. They are not without question, though. Can Swift, James Robinson, or Gus Edwards do enough to take pressure off of Taylor? The WR group is talented enough to carry some of that weight but Chase needs an RB2 to emerge. This squad is easily good enough to win the East but can they do enough to win a Victor Bowl?
BSC Jacks (6-7)
When it comes to the West the fight seems to be for third. I think BSC can fight for that spot but Dana is going to need to shore up that RB group to have a shot. With a pretty good WR group, and the best TE, BSC has some pieces in place. If Dana can find a star at RB he could have the last playoff spot on lock.
Reno Cutthroats (7-6)
Reno has the RB position on lock. Probably the best starters in the league. They are good enough to carry this team to some victories. The WR group could use some help. It's not bad but maybe underwhelming. This squad could easily land in the playoffs but they need a hot start and to fix holes early as the end of their schedule is brutal.
Austin Outlaws (4-9)
There is some talent in Austin but not a lot. Murray and Hopkins may be called on to carry this squad. If Pitts can breakout year one that would really help. If OBJ can be the player we used to know that could make a big difference. IF if if... The Austin schedule does not work in their favor and making the playoffs is going to be difficult.
Portland Rippers 9-4)
Portland should be fighting for the title in the West. This squad is loaded with starters. The bench isn't bad but isn't great. Let's hope Caden doesn't have to rely on his bench much. If this squad stays healthy they could find themselves back in the Victor Bowl.
Tucson Javelinas (10-3)
Tucson once again may have the best squad in the FCS. The WR position is loaded. The RB could be quite good as long as they are healthy. That could be the achilles heel for the squad. Trent did acquire Carson and Jackson through the draft as insurance and that could really come in handy. If it all holds together this squad should be taking home some hardware at the end of the year. Then again we have this a lot for Tucson and it hasn't always panned out.
Colorado IceCats (7-6)
Colorado should be right there fighting Reno and BSC for the final playoff spot. They have some starpower to help win ballgames but need some players to step up. If Henderson, Samuel, and Aiyuk can become quality producers then I think Colorado has the best chance to lock up the final spot in the West. Colorado is a couple moves away from making a run at the big boys who have the West on lock this year.
