There's never a dull moment in Reno with owner Nate Gairhan leading the charge. The Cutthroats have had a tumultuous tenure in the FCS, finishing last in the league in 2020 after nearly making the Victor Bowl the year before. Similar to The Bronx, Reno leads with a full steam ahead approach, usually pushing all of their chips to the center at the beginning of the season and seeing how things unfold. Gairhan hopes he found the right mix of charm and leadership in Lincoln Riley as they continue to battle out west.
